DELTA VANDALISM SOLVED - JULY 20, 2009 |

On July 14, 2009 at approximately 7 A.M. the Millard County Sheriff's Office began investigating multiple incidents of graffiti in Delta, Utah. Through the investigation it was discovered that at least 9 separate properties were vandalized, including the Delta South Elementary, Nickle Mortuary, the Grace Baptist Church, Quality Market, and several private residences, all on the south side of Delta. The Delta City Public Works Department immediately began efforts to clean the properties affected and were successful in removing most of the graffiti.
Two juvenile suspects ages 14 and 15 were developed and subsequently arrested. The words "VPK" were spray painted on most of the properties that were vandalized. Through the investigation it was discovered that V.P.K. stood for "Vandaling Property Krew". Both juveniles were referred into Fourth District Juvenile Court for Felony Vandalism.
