FRAUDULENT TELEPHONE CALLS RECEIVED IN MILLARD COUNTY – APRIL 20, 2010 |

Customers of the Millard County Credit Union have recently received phone calls from a computer automated system advising them their credit/debit cards are restricted. They are further advised they need to provide their account numbers so the restriction can be lifted. These phone calls are fraudulent and are not coming from the Millard County Credit Union or any of their affiliates. Sheriff Robert Dekker would like to remind all the citizens of Millard County to be very protective of their account numbers and to never give them out over the phone.

Safe Tip
| Think carefully before buying a firearm for protection. Guns can be stolen and sold to anyone, or captured and used on you or the police. If you do own a gun, keep it locked up with the ammunition secured separately and learn how to use it safely. |
