On 03-08-13 members of the Central Utah Narcotics Task Force, Richfield City Police Department and the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in Richfield City.  A Psilocybin (Psychedelic) Mushroom Grow was located in a residence along with drug paraphernalia and a firearm.

One suspect Colton Hyde, age 29, was taken into custody and booked into the Sevier County Jail.

The execution of the search warrant ended a month long investigation and more arrests are expected. This Psilocybin (Psychedelic) Mushroom Grow was the first of its kind to be taken off the streets by the Narcotics Task Force in this area.

Safe Tip

Think carefully before buying a firearm for protection. Guns can be stolen and sold to anyone, or captured and used on you or the police. If you do own a gun, keep it locked up with the ammunition secured separately and learn how to use it safely.
