During the early morning hours of September 4, 2013, a Millard County Deputy Sheriff responded to a call of a possible impaired driver on I-15 near Holden.  The Deputy located the car and made a traffic stop.  When the driver was asked for his driver license, he reached between the driver’s seat and the console, and started fumbling with something there.  Because of the suspicious behavior of the driver, the Deputy immediately removed the driver from of the car.  The investigation continued, and the driver was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.  After the arrest, the car was searched, and a .22 caliber hand gun was found between the seat and console where the driver had his hand.  Brody Joe Yardley, age 24, of Beaver, Utah was booked into the Millard County Jail for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Possession of a Firearm by an Intoxicated Person.
