Tuesday, 17 September 2013 17:46

The Millard County Sheriff’s Office was contacted today (09-17-2013) by the Salem Utah Police Department in regards to some possible “hazing” incidents that had taken place in Fillmore during a football camp this summer.  Detectives interviewed victims in this case with the cooperation of the Salem Hills High School and determined that 2 juvenile males will be charged with Lewdness (Click HERE to see Utah's Lewdness Law).  Because the victim(s) and suspects are juvenile no names will be released.  The juveniles will be referred to Juvenile Court.

The investigation is ongoing.

Safe Tip

Con-artists are not always easy to spot. Smart, extremely persuasive, and aggressive, they invade your home through the telephone and the mail, advertise in reputable newspapers and magazines, and come to your door. Most people think they’re too smart to fall for a scam. But con artists rob all kinds of people from investment counselors and doctors to teenagers and elderly widows of billions every year. It’s up to you to say NO. Use common sense and learn about old and new scams.
