          Sundays 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
  • No property, letters, or packages will be accepted or released by staff during visiting. Visitors may leave CASH to be placed on an inmate's commissary account. NO CHECKS ACCEPTED!
  • Personal items of the visitors, including cameras and recording devices, are not allowed in the visiting area. All visitors are subject to search, for cause, and where the security of the jail may be compromised.
  • Children under 12 years of age may only visit during the Sunday visiting period. Other special arrangements can be made for children under 12 to visit. Children from age 12 to 18 may visit during any scheduled visiting time but must be accompanied by their parent or guardian. Children 16 years of age or older will be required to furnish photo ID. If a visitor under the age of 18 is the spouse of an inmate, unaccompanied visits may be approved if the spouse can produce a valid photo identification and a valid marriage certificate.
  • Visits will be refused or terminated when the visitors inability or refusal to control children is creating noise or behavioral disturbance that is interfering with other visits and/or the safety of others.
  • Visits will be monitored and limited to 20 minutes.
  • No more than two (2) visitors per inmate at any time.
  • VISITORS MUST BE DRESSED PROPERLY. Visits will be refused or terminated when the visitor is wearing unacceptable attire, which may include but not be limited to: no shoes (does not apply to infants), no shirt, clothing that incorporates lewd or obscene logos or images, and clothing that exposes the breasts, buttocks, or genital area.
  • Visits will be terminated if the visitor or inmate become involved in suggestive or lewd behavior, including disrobing, opening shirts, trousers or any other type of indecent exposure or behavior.
  • For inmates that have potential visitors that will be traveling for more than 100 miles to the facility, other arrangements MAY be made to accommodate the visit. The inmate needs to request the visit in writing with the following information; who will be coming, relationship to inmate, where the visitor is traveling from and the date and time of the requested visit. A shift supervisor may approve the visit if the visit can be accommodated for the jail schedule. No visits will be allowed that do not have prior approval.
  • Violations of these rules may result in termination of visiting privileges, and could result in disciplinary action for the inmate and criminal prosecution for the visitor.
  • Criminal charges will be filed against any individual who attempts to bring any contraband into the jail.
  • Previous inmates of the Millard County Jail within the last year, other than immediate family, will be denied visiting.

Safe Tip

Do not store valuables in your car, even in the trunk. Please lock your car and take your keys with you. Even though it is tempting to run your vehicle in the cold mornings, an unattended vehicle is an open invitation to a thief.
